Weekly Roundup: c'est un pique-nique!

Who has two thumbs and is already procrastinating on her thesis? If you guessed anyone except me, you could be right, but why would I be talking about someone I don't know? No, sadly I did mean me, because I am already procrastinating on my thesis. But this is what I always do. Only time will tell if it'll pay off for me as per usual.

Local: It's Picnic Day in Davis tomorrow! In the words of Tom Haverford of Parks and Rec fame, "the best day of the yeaaaaaaaaaar!" I know you're wondering right now, what is Picnic Day? It is an all-day event that my university puts on every year with tons of stuff to do with all the different departments on campus. There is a parade (which I have been in, and will be in again this year), a Chemistry magic show, Laser Maze, cow milking, sheepdog trials, a doxie derby aka dachshunds racing, marching band battle that lasts 8 hours, and also, everyone's favorite, day drinking! The month of April, I don't sleep, I wait. It is for sure the best part about going to Davis.

Music: "Picnic Day 100" playlist. Jams perfectly suited to day drink to, whether you do Picnic Day or not, the playlist moves along with you from 'casually tipsy' to 'white girl wasted.'

Food: Been eating particularly healthy this week in honor of letting myself go tomorrow. Juicin' like a boss and obsessed with GT's Kombucha, especially their Synergy Trilogy juice.

Television: The current season of the best show on TV always ended this past Tuesday. Yes, I'm talking about Justified. This season hasn't kept my attention quite like the last four, I will be honest, but the finale more than made up for any misgivings. It has perfectly set up the sixth and final season, and it is gonna be hard to wait for next year.
